IMO, standing platforms and lean bars are overrated. On a lake, getting your fly out further is simply a matter of rowing or kicking closer to where you want to put it. The extra weight and complexity of the whole standing platform mechanism plus how the center of gravity of the boat shifts forward when you stand on it simply isn't worth it's benefit.
