brand new voyager party boat.
anyways i was trying too think of something too do to make it not look so stock and oldpersonish
i was thinking maybe put a ski pole in the back and put speakers on that to give it some flair.
anyway i ran out of ideas so i was thinkin maybe you guys could help me out.

This is a Mercury 50hp four-stroke outboard motor on a pontoon. We took the boat out about a month ago and everything was working fine. Went to raise the motor yesterday to run the boat for a bit and the trim did not go up or down. Tried from the button on the motor and from the switch in the boat on the throttle. There is nothing at all ...no clicks..no noises...nothing! Everything else is working and motor starts right up..the battery is fine. Where do I start to find out what the problem could be? Is there a fuse for that ? or how does the wiring work to check that? The boat is a 1995 voyager...pontoon. Bought it used and can seem to find a manual anywhere for it.... Thank You

First, check the fuse, located in the wiring harness. Should be a blade style for your year. Then disconnect the wires from the trim pump, and jump wire the motor directly to the battery. This motor is bi-directional, so it doesn't matter which goes to +. If the motor runs, use a volt meter on disconnected wires from the wiring harness, check for voltage when you push the trim buttons. Because your trim does not operate in either direction, my guess is either the fuse, or the motor. It is extremely rare for both relays to fail at the same time. Also, Make sure all your primary connections, both + and -, are clean and tight.
