Pontoon Boat Stuff

I want to run all at once: a mini fridge, mini freezer, and a few other small appliances. What do I need to know about inverters, generators, propane, batteries, solar panels, etc... ? Any good business advice? How do I make this idea work? What are things to consider if I want to sell food and other stuff?

Keep in mind, boats and any food / alcohol service have strict guidelines and regulations.

You could probably get some large battery packs charged by a generator. Look at other people who have similar setups. You could probably find out a lot by looking at an ice cream truck.

I am building a pontoon boat out of mild steel, i'll be building literally everything for it except maybe the toons because they would take longest - i have calculations for bouyancy and all that good stuff all i need to know is what is the rule on weight limit and amount of people for the size, Im making it 19 foot by 8 foot. I live in North dakota but will be using it mainly in Minnesota, any idea on how high the toons have to sit out of the water at full payload, etc. Anything you know on these regulations would help. I have all the information I need for life vests, fire ex. and all that just I need the design regulations, such as whether or not rails are REQUIRED and all of above. Thanks.

i'm really into r/c boats, cars, planes, etc.
and i like to make scale models of stuff like that, and i want to build an r/c pontoon boat; to do that i have to make it float, and i don't know how, to make my own pontoon tubes, or where I can buy any, so i'm wondering how to make my own. if you can tell me how to make the tubes the boat floats on, or give me a link to a website that sells them, or any ideas you might have, please let me know. ur help would be very much appreciated. thanks for your help. :)

Use wooden dowels, shaped accordingly. A soft light wood like pine or cedar would be ideal. Balsa wood or foam would also work.

My aunt is going to Kuwait for military stuff to patrol a harbor in a naval pontoon boat and I was wondering if I could get some info on what to look out for there such as poisonous/deadly insects, spiders, andything dangerous, human or not.

In terms of reptiles, I've heard of the Arabian rear-fanged snake, which is venomous but not as big of a threat as the horned viper and the black desert cobra. These two can be lethal, and I would highly suggest staying away from.

I'm sure there are some nasty biting insects there, but I can't remember of the top of my head. Perhaps if you goodlesearch "kuwait insects" you might find something.

Our boat has been in the water for 8 months, how do you get that awful green stuff off the pontoons?

I assume you have a way to suspend the boat, either a trailer or a lift.

Once out of the water, use an aluminum polish and a brush attachment for an electric drill. When the pontoons are buffed and shiny, give them a coat of wax to keep the algae at bay.
