Unique boat advice needed - The Hull Truth - Boating and Fishing Forum
I have made this trip many times and have recently sold a fish and ski boat that I used. I loved it but I hated sitting on the floor. I am looking for a boat that definitely is a dual console with windshields to help block wind. It also needs to draft as little as possible to help avoid hitting rocks, sand bars, etc. and be big enough to haul my camping gear, cooking stuff, etc. I have seen some pics of an older Mckee Craft Aruba that is 14 feet. Just wonder if it will be big enough. I also need to mention that I like to max out the HP rating because I usually have a lot of gear on it and need to make good time sometimes. We like to float as much as possible tying all the boats together...
