I am about 90 lbs and 4 foot 11 inches. I Own Waders with boots and have been fishing for a while. I have about 200$ to spend and need a new way to fish. So should I get an inflatable boat, inflatable Canoe, inflatable kayak, inflatable float tube, or an inflatable pontoon to go fishing with
A "U" float tube will be the best bet for small ponds and even big lakes on calm days. At your height the models with extra high seats will give a problem with getting a good bite with fins. I have been using a Kennebec for the past 6 years. It is comfortable, stable and rides low on the water. The only negative is that the large wet surface makes it slower than my friends tubes. Shop around for an inflatable life preserver like a SOS model manual operated. Automatics are a poor choice for a tuber. Then invest the rest of your budget in a tube.

i'm really into r/c boats, cars, planes, etc.
and i like to make scale models of stuff like that, and i want to build an r/c pontoon boat; to do that i have to make it float, and i don't know how, to make my own pontoon tubes, or where I can buy any, so i'm wondering how to make my own. if you can tell me how to make the tubes the boat floats on, or give me a link to a website that sells them, or any ideas you might have, please let me know. ur help would be very much appreciated. thanks for your help. :)
Use wooden dowels, shaped accordingly. A soft light wood like pine or cedar would be ideal. Balsa wood or foam would also work.
what kind of fly line would you use when fishing from a float tube or pontoon boat in a lake?
There are two considerations. The first is the line weight. You need to match this up with whatever weight rod you have. It should say on the rod. There are times you would deviate from this, but to keep it simple match the line weight to the rod.
The second consideration of the line type has to do with what type of fishing you will be doing. If the fish are feeding on the surface you would go with a floating line which are also the easiest to cast. Full sinking lines will get your fly down deep if that's where the fish are but these are the toughest to cast. Intermediate or sinking tip fly lines are a decent compromise. If you were using a leech or woolybugger pattern, some sort of sinking line would be best. If you are just starting out I would go with the floating line since its easiest to cast and you can still get some depth just with the leader.
If you have a fly shop or decent sporting goods store nearby, they should have good advice for your particular area. Good luck and tight lines!

I've seen a lot of these dual-hulled inflatable pontoon boats used in America for fly fishing and i'm interested in getting one for my father's birthday.
They're also know as catarafts i think or as a variation of float tubes. They have two inflatable bladders with a seat suspended between and a bar to rest your feet on and they make great inflatable fishing boats. I can see plenty for sale in the US but none in the UK.
Are there any businesses out there shipping these to the UK?
Hi, if you visit www.pontoonboats.co.uk you will find the boats you are looking for.
We, Highland Ventures Ltd are the sole UK importers of the range of Classic Accessories Pontoon Boats and float tubes and have appointed a number of distributors in Scotland, where you can buy these boats. If you check out the website you will find further details including the addresses of distributors, pictures of the boats in action and all the relevant info you may require. They are very reasonably priced and we are sure your Father will be very appreciative if he receives one for his birthday!
My younger brother, in 2nd grade, is doing a "Sink or Float" activity/ competition where he must build a 6" x 6" boat ( basically, a structure that can float; doesn't need to be shaped or look like one) and small tiles will be placed on it, with the boat that can hold the most being the winner. Does anyone know what kind of structure and materials would be the best to support the most ammount of weight? Some restrictions are that you can't use pre-made materials (like a milk jug, or tupperware) and it HAS to be the 6" x 6" dimension, or it won't fit in the bucket. We constructed a small raft with straws wrapped in tin foil that worked fairly well, and tried to use toilet paper roll tubes to make a "pontoon style" floatation device, but they got soggy. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.
Try putting your "pontoons" in ziplock bags so they stay dry.

Float Tubes, an Economical, Fun Option to Fishing from a Boat
What is a Float Tube?
The most basic design of a float tube, also know as a belly boat, consists of a round air bladder that is covered with cloth. The design allows for a seating area that partially submerges the legs of the user. When seated in a tube the angler is sitting on or near the water surface. The angler motivates the tube across the water surface by means of specifically designed fins similar to those used by scuba divers. Used properly and safely a float tube can add an enjoyable dimension to any angler’s fishing repertoire.
Why Float Tubing?Of all the options for getting out on the water to fish the use of a float tube is the most economical. While it is possible to spend several hundred dollars on just the float tube alone, complete kits can be purchased for as little as $105 through online retailers such as Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s . These kits contain float tube, fins and a pump for inflating the internal bladder. At such a reasonable cost an angler can be set for years of fishing for less than the cost of an annual boat registration in most states.
