Intex Raft

We have a large floating raft called an oasis island but we lost the valve/plug that holds the air in. This is a valve that is underwater and we cant figure out what to put in it. It is an intex raft and I have looked on their web site and on ebay, cant find anything similar. It is a threaded plug and the threads are on the inside of the drain. Anyone have any suggestions??

we bought a pack of rubber plugs from lowes home improvement store. they come in many sizes. we have used one for a kayak that lost its plug and it seems to stay in just fine.

The Sevylor is 12'x5'4" has an 1100 lbs capacity and weighs 39 lbs.
The Intex is 12'x5'6" has a capacity of 880 lbs, weighs 51 lbs and the vinyl is 30 gauge thickness. The Sevylor thickness is unknown, but presumed to be similar, maybe slightly less due to 12 lbs weight difference.
Anybody have experience with either? Probably will row 50% of the time or use our Minn Kota Endura 40 electric trolling motor mainly on lakes or rivers, generally within 500 yards of shore. Thanks.

I have an Intex excursion 4 and it is very heavy duty. If you are rowing and beaching it I would go with the thicker gauge vinyl, it will resist ripping better and be stronger at the oar locks, as well as the motor mount points. I have done all this with mine and have had no issues with rocky shores. Unless you need the extra capacity - short of contacting Seveylor, I would go with the one that publishers their thickness. Like you said the weight is probably the difference in thickness and the SEV probably has bigger air chambers, leading to the higher capacity, and potentially less interior space for the same size.

We're expecting company and I think they'll be swimming. It's an Intex Metal Frame Pool. I'm thinking about 6 people will have to fit (including a baby in a raft).

If we won't all fit, what do you think we should tell the guests?

I am looking for a good raft to buy because I don't need a big boat with a motor or anything. Just a sturdy inflatable raft I can fish from with oars that can hold three people and costs between $100-$150. I'm 17 and I have a 9 year old little brother. Typically, I just like to float around on a raft in our above-ground 18ft. x 52in. easy-set Intex pool - but he likes to actually play games and have fun (who can blame him!)

I was just wondering if anyone had any fun ideas for us to entertain ourselves with in the pool. We're both bored with the diving sticks and marco polo. Thanks a lot!

play teeter totter on a truck innertube and see who can tip the other backwards into the water.
