Hi, I have a 11 feet- inflatable boat and it holds up to 3hp(41 lbs) motor(manufacture recommended). If I use 6hp(55 lbs) motor, it could be a problems(even though it is in solw speed)? If so, what kind of safety problems might occur? I do not have any idea because i never had a motor before. thank you for your time.

IMO you should stay within the boat manufacturer's maximum rating to be safe.
If you decide to try it, keep an eye on the transom to make sure it does not bow.

It will take up to a 10 hp you may need to register your boat if it has a motor on it. It will screem w a 10 hp on it btw
I purchased a sevylor Inflatable 3 person boat a year ago on ebay. I also bought a used MinnKota brand 1.5 HP electric trolling motor. I was told i needed to register the boat if I want to take it out to a lake. I called but they were asking what dealer I bought it from , it was just some guy on ebay.
