No. You can't really stand up in those things. They don't stabilize too well in choppy water too. Drop a hook and you could puncture something without you even knowing. Personally, I think you'll be much better off with a float tube which was designed for fishing in the first place.

is it a good boat for me and my brother teenagers.
Its is a cheap ($60.00) inflatable made of pvc. for the price its a good buy but it is not designed to be a rugged sea worthy boat. there is really only room in the boat for two adults. oars are cheap and seem to break easy. if you just want to float around on protected lakes or slow moving rivers then it should be ok. remember to wear your life jackets.
Quality inflatable boats will cost over $800.00 new.

We just bought a cheap coleman 4 person inflatable boat. We want to take it around the shoreline at Lake Mead, NV. Do we need to wear life jackets?
I would say "yes". Inflatable boats can still sink.

Hello, this is one of lifes questions where you as an individual make choices through experience, wish to eliminate risks and advice from others.
I suggest that when you are operating, working or playing in boats r there is a great chance that you may end up in the water and even if you are a strong swimmer a life jacket or buoyancy aid helps to support you whilst you still need to swim to get things sorted out.
My suggestion is that not only in Ontario, you should always wear some sort of personal flotation device when out paddling.

Ok so Im looking to get a inflatable boat for fishing in the spring. The boat will be needed to hold 2 adults. So im looking at 4 person boats for ample room. I need to know where is a affordable place to get a 4 person inflatable and motor brace. also has anyone used a trolling motor and are they powerful enough?
I'm wondering why you would want an inflatible boat for fishing.I can envision all kinds of scenarios where you could have problems. Besides,those things aren't all that stable and they can get uncomfortable after long periods.
Trolling motors are great for manouervering where you want to fish, but you would want an outboard engine to get you from the dock to the fishing area if any distance is involved.

Probably fish in creeks and maybe at my lake? All answers will be appreciated. I’m not bringing muc gear. just a small little plastic tackle box. and a rod and reel. I can’t swim.
That might be not a good idea to use. Most creeks and lakes might have sunken trees and rocks enough they could damage the raft. Yes the raft could be punctured by a catfish spine. I use to help my uncle on the Mississippi River with his trot lines and bait box traps and catfish can stick you bad. The same goes for the raft when you bring one into it.
