Boat Slips

I would like to buy a boat, but cannot find a good site for renting or buying a boat slip. Any good sources without having to talk to a lot of boat brokers?

The only thing, they probably charge marinas to be on this, so, we not see all that are available. What I do is take a joy ride and run the area I want to slip my boat (Dang, sounds like Bar hoping, Ha!). But, joking aside, then you may find that little out of the way place that good people and cheap. My brother has a slip and it $400 a month (70 foot boat). He went riding around looking and talking and found one for $200. The problem he has to look at is the water depth into the marina. It shallow and his boat draws 5 ½ feet of draft. But, maybe that why the slips are cheaper.

my landlord wants to rent one of three boat slips that is on his property and it has no stipulation in the lease on renting the slip and people comiing and going through our yard to get to the boat slip when ever they please, is this legal?

Yes, completely legal. As long as they do not enter your house there isn't anything werid about this.

They will not be strangers though, they should be the renters.

I think it was '90s. I believe I remember the expectant mother stepping off a pier and slipping on the edge of a boat. She dies, but her child (I think a daughter) lives. I remember seeing it on CMT when I was younger. What was the song? Who sang it?

The video is Travis Tritt "Tell Me I Was Dreaming".

The "Anymore" video is, I guess, a prequel to "Tell Me I Was Dreaming" It is Mac(Travis Tritt) dealing with his being confined to a whell chair after a war injury, and his wife Annie and a fellow vet Al.

"Tell Me I Was Dreaming" Mac and Annie have gotten on with their life and are happy. Annie is now pregnant, when she falls from the boat. Annie dies but the Daughter survives.

The final video in the series is "If I Lost You" Mac's trial and tribulations of being a single dad in a wheelchair, and how his daughter is his everything.

And does anyone know how much the slip spaces are? If you can anchor outside the slips, how long can you stay?

you r not allowed to anchor OUTSIDE the slips.
