Blow Up Boat

I mean, I know where the oil is coming from, but how did the boat blow up to cause the spill to start? I never saw it on the news and I was just curious.

The well blew, causing the rig to explode.

Sea Cav in Gibsons, it's tradition to blow up a boat every year!

i have a little 8ft dinghy, not a zodiac or anything, just one of those little $80 boats from joes. its not high quality or anything, but i need to know if it will fold up on me when i get going fast, or would it keep going and not get swamped with water.

I think that before Todd Manning went to jail for rape, he was "on the run " so to speak. I seem to remember him committing murder by blowing up someone's boat.

Yeah, way back when the first actress, Gina Tognoni, played Kelly Cramer. Kelly was engaged to this extremely rich British man named Ian or something, and he had a boat. Todd didn't realize that anybody was on the boat, and he blew it up.

I'm not really sure that Ian is dead, though; it was only presumed that he was killed, but I don't remember them ever finding any remains. There MUST've been some ashes or something if a man was really blown apart ... traces of a charred arm, maybe? Kelly really grieved for Ian, and at the reading of his will, she learned that he had given his millions and trillions to her.

So, Kelly became a rich woman in her own right ... without the Cramer name!

Edit: Yeah, Ian Armitage. And I made a mistake, Ian got killed in a plane crash. But Todd DID set the Armitage yacht to blow up, not knowing that Guy Armitage, Ian's father, was in it. It was all to frame Patrick Thornhardt, who had gotten Blair pregnant. And, yeah ... Guy Thornhardt died, there was evidently a body.

Here are the details:

As part of his plot to get revenge on Patrick Thornhart, Todd Manning interviewed Guy and got him to make inflamatory right-wing statements to anger Patrick. This was not hard to do since Guy was a very unlikeable and bigoted man, especially regarding the Irish. Patrick is angered by the statements and gets into a public brawl with Guy at the Palace Hotel. Using this brawl as further proof against Patrick, Todd proceeds to place a bomb aboard Guy's yacht and plants evidence to implicate Patrick. Unfortunately for Guy, he unexpectedly returned to the yacht and was killed when the bomb went off. As Guy lay dying, he tried to reveal his murderer by whispering "Sun" (meaning Todd's newspaper), but it was taken to be "son" and Ian was first suspected in Guy's death until the evidence pointed to Patrick as the bomber. Eventually, Patrick was also cleared and the murder of Guy Armitage remains unsolved, at least to the Llanview police.

you do not need to register it unless you put a trolling motor on it. you do have to wear a PFD.
