Where is best place to store a boat near Windermere?

I have a 19ft trailer sailor, Drascombe Lugger. I am looking for somewhere to store it to allow easy access and launch on to the lake. I don't want to pay a king's ransom but equally it needs to be secure. Any suugestions?

how long have sea nymph boats been around?

My dad just gave me a boat and trailer (nothing big but it floats, it's in AWESOME shape, and i dont have to row). On the title it says it is a 1965 model aluminum V-bottom boat 14'. Its no yacht by any stretch of the imagination but my grandfather bought it brand new in 1965 so i love it. My question is this; my buddy, who fishes also, says the boat is a sea nymph. I've looked all over and cant seem to find ANY sea nymphs older than 1970's. It has a really cool looking sea king motor on it, vintage colors too; mint green and white. I absolutely love the whole package's vintage look but just am not sure of the years. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You say "I've looked all over and cant seem to find ANY sea nymphs older than 1970's."

Yet, if they are to be believed, the first line on the subject page on Wiki says that they were established in 1946 and implies they were bought up by Lowe Boats in 1971.

If their facts are correct (and they may not be) it would seem that yours is a pre-Lowe model.

If you mean you have looked for actual boats, pre 1970s to no avail, then it sounds a fairly plausible possibility that yours is a rare one.

Fudalism was a good way to live as King if you were a lord or a serf, but not if you were a peasant.

Make sure the strap on the trailer boat is on tight before we move.

The peasants lived quite cruelly, sometimes unaware of the richly nobles.

A lord gave him land and the vassal promised to fight for his land.

The last one is very hard. Are these from a text? The closest I could get with a few words missing was:

8. THE GRAND FINALE This is a true story! Last summer, down on Lake Isabella, located in the high desert, an hour east of Bakersfield, California, some folks, new to boating, were having a problem. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get their brand new 22-ft. Bayliner to perform. It wouldn't get on a plane at all, and it was very sluggish in almost every maneuver, no matter how much power was applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted over to a nearby marina, thinking someone there could tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working order. The engine ran fine, the outdrive went up and down, the prop was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard. REMEMBER, THIS IS TRUE.....Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer.

They're very good!!*pat on da back* have a star for amking me smile!! :)

  • Part of King Drake connector road is under construction | al.com

HUNTSVILLE, AL. - We need to clear up the matter of whether the city will or won't build a connector road between King Drake Road and U.S. 431 in Big Cove.

Don Key, who lives in Big Cove, said in an e-mail that he is confused about the column here on Dec. 19 that said the city has dropped the idea of building the connector road.

The connector road is under construction now, Key said.

"If the project has been dropped, then why is construction on the road being done?" he asked. "I would like to know when the projected project will be completed."

The city decided to drop the project because of problems acquiring right of way that is outside the city limits, said Steve Dinges, an assistant director of the Huntsville Planning Department.
