I seen a commercial on a fishing show (I believe Roland Martin) about a site with trailer accessories. They had a self launching system which attaches to the trailer and it both launches the boat off of the trailer for you and cranks the boat on the trailer for you. I don't remeber what the site was now and was wondering if somebody happened to see this commercial or knew of the site. There was also a small electrical device that attaches to the trailer letting you know when the trailer is far enough in the water before loading.
not sure if this is it, but this is a neat automatic boat loading accessory called Rope A Boat it is able to auto launch and retrieve your boat. neat system...i want one for my bay boat.

The signs read "NO COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC." I know there is a height restriction because of the low bridges. So it makes sense to restrict trucks from the parkways and I understand that no commercial vehicles are allowed but what about utility trailers, boats or motorcycles on trailers. Is it true that trailers are also restricted from the parkways on Long Island and in New York State?
Yes, in long island "over-the-road" trailer length is restricted to only 48 feet. Don't bring a 53 footer in there, or you will be fined heavily.

I think maybe my dad and I hallucinated the same thing. He and I both saw a commercial one time a few years ago in which a guy was putting his boat on a trailer and the whole thing sank in the water. A guy in a Ford truck came over and pulled his Chevy and trailer up out of the water. Somone else said, "Wow, that thing just sank." And the Ford driver smirked and said, "Yeah, like a rock." I am wondering if there was some kind of trademark infringement or something or if anyone else out there saw this as well.
I saw that commercial one time. GM probably made the networks stop airing it.
