looking for an estimate of how much this would cost if i paid someone else, not really knowledgeable in this field so looking fo input, thank you.

I'd do it for about $1200. As long as it is roadworthy (tires, lights, etc) and doesn't need any special permits (overwidth, over height,) and weighs under 4,000#
My son lives in Denver and I'd like to see him and his family (my grandkids) soon. I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy pickup which I use to haul my Cape Dory 25 sloop around with. It weighs about 4,000#.

It squeaks as I'm going down the road as I hit bumps, sounds like it's the leaf springs on it squeaking.

Use a sticky water resistant grease such as Lanotec or even industrial chain lube, such as lithium type or other that resists water wash out. A wedge such as an old flat screwdriver can help opening any leaves just enough to get the grease into the gap - jack the trailer up to take weight off the spring for this and it's not too hard. Make sure the trailer can't fall off the jack doing this! - connect to vehicle to stabilise. If rubbers are fitted the squeaking can only be stopped by removing the bolts/rubbers and lubricating with rubber grease. Nolathane type bushes are notorious for this, and the only cure is pull apart, grease, reassemble. Doesn't last very long even then - grease-able shackles and bolts are the solution for that - then you grease regularly and the bushes last and last...

When I lock my boat trailer crank, so that I can crank the boat by hands to the boat trailer, my crank goes in the opposite direction. What I mean is, I click the lock up so that when I crank the boat onto the trailer, the boat does not roll back off the trailer. HOwever, when I try to lock it, and then crank the boat manually to the trailer, the boat keeps rolling back off the trailer because the crank no longer locks it. So, my question is, there some sort of switch or spring that got swiched to reversal for the crank?

There is a spring loaded rachet pawl that needs lubricated or the spring is broken.The above answer is probably the culprit.

For the two speed ratcheting winch. IF the winch will lock in both the pulling and letting out of the cable or strape. How do you switch between these? Is there a switch or spring?

I think you saying it a two speed/gear winch. Just look around how it made. Some you may have to move the handle to the other gear. Some have a small flip switch that selects the gear. All I can tell you without seeing.
