How do you attach light wires to boat trailer frame?

There are a couple of safe ways to attach the wires. First is to run the wires through the inside of the frame rails. this protect the wires from abrasion and from being cut, pinched, or severed easily. The next best is to get a bunch of "Electricians" Zip Tie mounts. These have a sticky foot so that they can be mounted anywhere. Then you install small ZIP ties into the slots and form a loop. Run the wires through the loops to where you need them to go. Once you have the wires placed and connected, snug up the wires and clip off the extra ZIP tie and work toward the front of the trailer doing the same as the last. Once you reach the tongue of the trailer, be sure to leave plenty of wire for the connector plug to the tow vehicle (usually about 4' beyond the coupler). Then your done.

Trailer: 13" rims 5 bolt, galvinized.1.5 x 3" frame. Problem: Boat rests on 4 bynks only. Keel dosent make it to the keel rollers. Cant lower bunks any more because bottom of boat hits top of fenders(replacing). Is there keel roller brackets avaiable with more than A 5" rise? Or is it possible to go to A 12" wheel to lower the fenders? 3000 lb. boat

Why worry a lot of boat don't touch the rollers> The roller are used when loading & Unloading> If you want more support make the bunks longer>

I am installing a frame mounted hitch.
It is a 2wd manual with the long bed.

Ordinarily you won't have any problems. If you were boating in my part of the world, I could just about guarantee it. But, I've seen some steep slippery ramps where you might have a bit of trouble.

Try using a chock with a short cord attached under the driver's side front wheel. The other end of cord in the cab. then pulling out, just lift the chock as you drive past. piece of cake.

I have a 1987 EZ Load trailer w/a 19' fiberglass boat on it. I noticed today that the (2) front hanging U brackets that hold the leaf springs are both detached from the frame. The aren't broken, the weld has broken.

I have no way of getting the boat off as I'm not going to drive it like this (even though I recently hauled it to 2 different lakes). Is it possible to get this welded while the boat is still on the trailer? I should be able to jack up both sides & support it w/jack stands.

Yes, it's probable that it can be welded with the boat on the trailer. Some welders will come to you, others you'll need to take it to them. Let the welder tell you how he wants to do this. If it is as I suspect he might want to weld it with the frame against the bracket.

Maybe weld a sand rail frame to it and drive it off road like that. If I do this will not be street legal but I only plan on driving it around my property for hunting, fishing and hailing stuff like feed or a boat trailer.
I want to know what YOU would do with it. I know what I want to do now what would you do?
If you would sale it say so. Not problem just asking for fun.

I would turn it into a rock crawler or a mud runner!! YEEEHAWW!
