30 Foot Boat Trailer

I need a trailer that can move a boat up to 30 foot off a sandy beach, then have some kind of hydraulic lift to remove the boat from the trailer
live in india, we have no marina, or slipway, need to get boats that do not have their own trailor up a beach then lift them onto their cradles. all advice much welcome

A large crane and a conventional tractor trailer may be the best solution. Ask other boat owners nearby what they use.

I am looking for some advice on what type of winch should I buy to assist my father to pull his 20 foot Lund V bottom and trailer into the garage. The winch has to be at least 30 feet long of cable and have a remote or 30 foot long control panel. Any suggestions? Does not have to be heavy duty but it will be mounted in the garage. He can hook a battery up to it or have it hard wired in.

You only need a light weight 400 pound or so winch. I would suggest mounting it straight to the garage wall. I live in the state of Maryland. Me and my girlfriend are planning to build a 30 foot luxury boat and it stands about 10 feet from the undercarriage floor to the roof of the captain cabinet. Is this to big to tow on a trailer?
I do not have a shipyard close to me. Plus the ramp is about 15 minutes from my house. So i wouldn't have to tow it far. Plus all the roads around here are double leaned and mostly highway. i think theres like 3 lights from here to there.

Length is not the problem, you need to be concerned about the width and the height. Wider than 8'6" you will need a wide load permit, and that would be for each time you move it. Also would be the height above the road - has to be less than 13' 6" or you need a permit for that too, the power company and or cable and phone will have to raise the wires so you do not pull 'em down.

Another thing aside - please take a boaters safety course before you do any more.

Then do a little more reasearch on boats and construction before you waste a lot of time and money.

Will a Jeep Wrangler year 2003-2008 pull a 30 foot boat on a trailer very well?

You will have a lot of trailer sway unless you get a 4 door then it wouldn't be so bad.A properly equiped(3.73 gear and towing package) 07-08 4 door Wrangler has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs.If you have a 2 door Wrangler I wouldn't even try it,too much trailer sway.

I have a what appears to be30 to 33 foot cruiser possibly ocean boat that has no trailer or motor/ as is, was cleared out and being restored but never finished. Idon't have a trailer, nor the vehicle to tow it where I am moving to (out of state). I have only a few days left (the 14th of Nov) before I leave. This would be perfect for a hobbyist who is into boats to finish.

I would like to keep it but don't have the money to have it shipped either. Anyone know what to do? Maybe trade it for something?

i would determine the year, make , model and size ( if you have a title to the boat it will say on it) then go to nada boat value guide to determine what it is worth. after that i would call goodwill or some other charity and donate it to get the tax deduction. if you do not have a title then you cannot donate it or even sell it.
