what is the best material for a seat that can handle direct sunlight?

if i were to have a seat on an open top boat.. what would be the best material for 100 degree weather (i don't want to feel like im sitting on a stove)


natural sheepskin or on many sailboats you sit on teak decks, weathered to a silver color they are not stove temp.

How do I get black (mildew?) spots out of white upholstery in my boat seats? I've tried bleach based cleaners

I've tried bleach based cleaners but do not want to allow them to soak for extended periods as they will weaken the material. I assume these spot are mildew. They appear while the boat is stored between outings. Is the anything that you can allow to soak and hopefully penetrate the fabric? The fabric is marine grade vinyl and I've even used a 3000 psi pressure washer with the current products. Any suggestions that won't ruin my seats would be deeply appreciated. thanks


Em Clean is a mold killer used on leather and I believe it is safe on vinyl too, it kills the spores which is what you need to do.

where would i buy pieces of leather material, 2 cover 6 seats in a speed boat?

i need pieces about 4 foot long and about 3 feet wide and i need at least about 3 pieces of good strong leather, and i need it at a good price


A marine canvas shop will be able to help U and it's marine vinyl not leather.
