Back To Back Boat Seat

I have one back to back lounge seat in my boat, I can't figure out how to lay it down flat. I can get it to move forward and back a few inches but thats about it. If you can explain in detail I would appreciate it.
Boat is a sea-swirl, didn't notice any levers.

There are two types of back to back seats. The most common is the style with a "Twist" knob. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to loosen the lockdown, and the seats will fall flat. The other style has a lever. This lever is usually under the "Forward" seat. Pull the lever forward and that should release the lock to lay the seat flat. I have the twist style on my Bow Rider seats.

Look under the seats for the "Twist" knob.

The back seats of virtually all cars have hidden plastic snaps and maybe a bolt or 2 here and there to hold them down. So its a game of finding the snaps and pinching them closed and pulling up. It's just like a wiring harness setup

I recently aquered a 12 aluminum V-hull. and the rear seat by the transome is a normal perpendicular seat like all the others, but i want to cut it to be two seperate seats, you know, one on each side of the back of the boat instead of all the way across.

Please give a walk through of steps on how this is done, and make sure to incude all minor details, but any help is appshiated.

The seat is there for strength that is needed to maintain the boats structural strength and contains foam for flotation purposes.- Don't do it.
