I have a 16'6" foot boat with a closed bow. There is a hand operated trolling motor mounted to the transom and I have a 50 hp motor there to. It is kinda tight with both of them there and I want to put a trolling motor with autopilot somewhere on the boat. Where is a good place to mount this new motor I have on my closed bow boat.

On the closed boat> That's where most mount them> The cables are long> Hope you don't have a bow rail??

I would like to find a bracket that the motor can be stored horizontally when travelling to a fishing spot and then rotate it and be able to lower it for use.

it has a 270 volvo horse motor and its a 16ft boat and its an inboard/outboard motor.So do they make one and where can i find it.

I think you mean just the Rubber Mount and not the Metal support for the mount to the Floor? You may have to check with a Boat Dealer. This should be fairly common and even a newer year may work. If, you have the old one, another option. Take it out and see if you can replace just the Rubber. Some of this stuff is similar to Rubber Bushing we see on Truck Front ends. For example the Rubber Bushing on the Front Swing Arm? I think that the name. I try to find a picture.

Not a great picture, but, see the Nut, top center area, this usually a large rubber bushing. With thought you may be able to make something "IF" you can not find the original replacement. Also, you may need to talk with someone who welds for a living, many times they pretty smart with fixing up something from Scratch. Good Luck.
