I have a 12' flat bottom aluminum punt style boat and want to turn it into an air boat. I have a 26 hp ONAN reefer motor of a transport truck cooling unit. It is a gas powered twin cylinder with centrifugal clutch/ double pully. Also any thoughts about prop size or where I can obtain one.

I keep taking the twigs out , I've wiped the motor cage with bleach. That stopped them for a little while, now I don't know what to do .
Can any of you help ? Thank you so much.

Try covering the motor with a large sheet or two sheets connected together somehow. You will have to make sure it is completely covered.

My boat loses horsepower after changing fuel tanks. If my boat does this, how do I get the air out so my motor will run good again?

Well make sure the lines are of the same size and that you are using the Manufactures suggested size hose I am assuming you have a primer bulb, make sure that the bulb pumps up tight it should be harder than you can squeeze with three fingers. Is it with the same tank that it loses HP, or anytime you change tanks out. If it is any time you should look at the filter on the motor. Speaking of filters it is not a bad idea to check the inside of the tank and ensure there is no trash that can be picked up and clog your filter. The only time that air will really effect your motor is in the case of vapor lock but if it is running then that is not an issue Most fuel pumps are self priming as long as it is running. (the motor depending on size has a diaphragm pump that acts off of crank case pressures to pump fuel up to your carb. Try these out and let me know. I may think of something else I might have over looked.
