Boat Cushion Fabric

I'm thinking specifically the canvas on the top and the cushions on the boat. They seem to fade so quickly and get a lot of stains from the water and salt. Thanks!

you might want to wash your boat off with fresh water after every use and then put a cover on it.........

It is for a boat and I am unsure if I can put them in the washing machine as I don't know how the vinyl will react. Any suggestions?

I would use upholstery cleaner like Resolve, Folex, Woolite, Spot shot, etc. on the fabric side working it in with a brush until clean. Then I would use regular 409 or other multi-purpose cleaner on the vinyl side. That is how I clean my patio cushions that are constructed like this after learning that the washer shreds the internal foam in the spin cycle.

I need to make some internal covers for my boat cushions/beds.
these are approx 7 ft in length.

I have the foam which is in good condition so just need to make the covers. what sort of fabric should i use/avoid. Not bothered about it being waterproof as its a dry area..
