Tracker Deck Boat

I'm thinking of buying this boat wondering about what is a good deal on this...appears to be in good working order. 82 75 h johnson,tracker trailer,trolling motor,dual batteries,wide cup depth finder,deck carpet and seats in good shape..

Don't act to fast or you might get burned. I strongly recommend that you run the motor in the lake or in a barrel for at least twenty minutes non stop to see how it does in all stages of warm up and once it is warmed up fully. Also, the only way to know if it really is a good motor is to use it under load, shift it, and try to run at idle. The motor is the biggest part of the deal and buy far, the most expensive. After all, what good is a boat that wont go. After you know the motor is in decent working order, now look at all of the electronic devices such as bilge pump, aerator, lights, and etc. They are not real expensive to replace but it adds up. If the boat leaks a little don't sweat it because most older aluminum boats do and if you have a good bilge pump it wont matter.(mine takes on about 1/2 gallon in 6 hours) Make sure the floor is not rotted out real bad. A little soft won't hurt and many floors sag a little, but a remodel on the flooring is no fun. I purchased a 1982 Fisher 16 foot with a mercury 40 on it. This boat was taken good care of and I got it for $900. (they were asking $1500) All I did was make a offer and leave my number, they called me. The boat has a tracker trolling motor, depth finder, live well, 4 seats, it is basically loaded the way new trackers are but some of the stuff was newer than the boat. Go check the prices on some boats on ebay and you will get a rough idea what yours is worth. The only one who can say what it really is worth is you. I will stress one last time to you, the motor is the only real expensive part of a boat that you must check out real well or your purchase could turn out to burn you.
