Glastron Boat Cover

I bought a 2002 Glastron boat with a 40-gallon fuel tank about three weeks ago. I currently store it in my garage but tomorrow will be moving it outside as my garage is filled each day with strong raw fuel odors. the smell is especially strong in the area of the floor where I store my skis. I found a cover on the floor with screws, I removed it and verified that the hoses were tightly connected to the tank. Is this normal to have this much odor, and if not, where is a good place to buy parts online?

Does your garage get hot inside during the day? It may just be the normal venting of fumes when it gets hot being closed up in an "oven". I would leave it outside for a few days and check the same spots for the odor. Gas fumes in low places on a boat is a bad thing, If it still remains or you notice even the slightest amount of fuel in the bilge areas I would do as other have suggested and get it checked out ASAP.

Anybody know where i can get some hardware parts for this boat.
I have had this boat for 25 years it has sat in storage for 10 years. Its in great shape but I want to do a total restore on it but I am lacking one Glastron side chrome emblem and the fish eye search light.
