I have looked online, but can't find any... Any suggestions....
I just sold one on ebay about a month ago. Some dude in Ohio has it. lol. Your best bet is to call boat salvage yards or ask your local boat shop if they know anyone. A lot of times boat shops will have a pile of parts or they know someone with a pile of parts.

My buddy just bought a used boat. It has sat for while and hadn't been used. We just took it to the lake to check it out and about 5 minutes into the big opening ride, water started floding into the boat as well as watery oil shooting out of the valve cover hose. It started great and it actually ran great except for that. I have a boat with an outboard motor and am not sure how the cooling system works in this one, but It seemed that the engine was throwing water into the boat and not letting it back out. and getting into the oil. Does anybody know? does this sound like a gasket or something worse?
the water flooding into boat can be from several areas. first, is drain plug installed in bottom of transom. 2nd torn exhaust bellows boots just after the exhaust manifold and riser. 3rd is torn shift or gimbal bellows, located between transom and outdrive. last and worst is u have a few cracks in block from freeze damage. external block crack letting water into boat and cracks on the inner wall of oil galley allowing water to mix with oil. note: if boat was submerged or flooded then water can get in thru seals but ur saying ur taking on water in boat as well which leads to conclusion of both symptoms that u have freeze damage cracks. means replacing motor and probably manifolds.

I have a 140 mercruiser inboard. The boat sunk in shallow water (still deep enough to cover entire engine). Lifting boat out and will wash down but what state is the engine likley to be in?
Your motor needs to be serviced. drain the oil and refill, spray the electrical parts with a water displacement such as WD40. Remove spark plugs and if it will turn over get the water out of the cylinders. After you are sure the water is out make sure carb is water free too, then hook engine up to fresh fuel, not your boats fuel tank, and get it started. You may have to replace electrical parts even if they appear to work. Your boats fuel tank needs to pumped out and refilled. Be careful with any electrical wiring that was under water.
Good Luck
The guy I bought my boat motor from spray painted it for duck hunting. Is there an easy way to remove the spray paint without sanding? I'll repaint the fiberglass cover but I was wondering about the spray paint on the metal. Maybe spray it with degreaser and pressure wash it?????
rub it off with some petrol.

Why You Need a Boat Engine Cover
Boat engine cover envelopes the engine from the top of the engine housing to the base of the propeller. This is the ideal cover to use for trailering a vessel, to keep gravel, road rubbish or other foreign objects from gaining access into the engine or cracking any of the casing. This is also a nice cover for dry storage, to keep out the highest possible volume of dust particles.

Some styles will be the same...
