The boat was stored for a while under trees in the heat and it now full of stains and mildew.
It can be brushed with a whisk broom and sprayed with a hose. there are cleaning materials available. You do not want to wash away the water proofing, but it can be sprayed on again later.

I want to change the length of my rear poles but I need them to be 24" with eyelet on each end or able to cut to length. All I can find is longer poles with the wrong ends. I have all the hardware so if I could just find the pole material and cut it to length that would be best.

I know of a couple places in Florida, one just north of Ft. Pierce, one in St. Augustine. These are used boat part and surplus places. I also know of one in Clearwater, FL, and some in Annapolis, MD.

I am installing a 4 foot antenna on my boat that has a bimini top and am concerned about how well the reception will be. Does anyone else have experience with this or does anyone have a creative way to mount an 8 foot antenna?
Please remember that VHF is line of sight, so the higher you can get that antenna the better your reception will be.
So, how about mounting the 4 footer right on the bim if it is up most of the time. On two of my boats with antennas they are mounted outside of the bim area. On my ski boat on the handrail and on the 30 footer it is mounted with a vertical plate on a fiberglass portion right below the windshield.
Be thinking creatively, and find a spot on the bimini if it is up most of the time or outside the bim if you bring it up and down a lot.
its not boat spped that one water skiis its the boats power to pull the ski-er.
