Boat Bimini Cover

It is a 19 foot bowrider. Front bow seats, jump seats, and both recliners need to ne re done. Any ideas on cost? Carpet is is good conditon. I would also like to have a bimini cover made for it. Any ideas on that also?

Sanger Boats Bimini Top

There are heat seal type machines that literally weld the plastic together. Stitching can be used with the appropriate UV resistant thread and reinforcing materials as needed. Best bet is to consult a professional tarp and trim business. The sewing machines suitable for this type work are your good old sail making ones, although the main limiting factor is the throat of the sewing machine restricting how much material you can put through so domestic machines will be o.k. to a point..

I would look at any existing bimini's and see what has worked for them. Making them too light will only let them fail early.

I have a 1996 15' Sea-Doo Challenger with a single 110hp Rotax motor. It is in great shape. It has always been garage kept and never had any problems. The interior is free of any tears. All gauges and switches work. It has a CD player with three speakers. It also has a boat cover and bimini top. Basically this boat looks like it could be only a few years old. It couldn't look much better. NADA says around 3,800 average but I just know its worth more than that because of its great condition. Anyone have any idea? Thanks!

Boats are cheap right now due to high gas prices and not many buyers. A boat is worth what someone will pay. Not necessary book value

I am looking for square aluminum tubing bows for my top on my fish rite jet boat. the tubing it came with was weak and didn't hold up. the canvas is fine so i don't need it. i am looking for any and all sites dealing with these types of all weather tops. but not bimini tops or boat covers. this top has three sides, windows and a door. thanks. t

you'll probably have to get those fabricated. if you find the manufacturer you'll find they sell only to dealerships and the cost is astronomical.

1991 Hurricane 21’ Deck Boat FD206, good condition meaning it has wear & tear but nothing major. Deck is good, upholstery is a little faded/dirty, no rips but has a few split seams. Bimini top, new mooring cover. No accessories (life vests, anchor, fire ext., etc).

1992 Force 100 hp ELPTO 4cyl, 2stk, elec. start/tilt motor. Number of hours is unknown

1991 Shoreland’r dual axel trailer. Some rust/wear/tear but otherwise good cond.

NADA books it between $4895 - $5320. Dealer asking $5999.00. I know it’s tough without seeing it, but what would you offer?
Also, dealer is offering 1 year warranty, but dealer is 2 hrs from my home. Since I don't see myself driving two hours to get it fixed would you offer to buy it without the warranty in order to get a lower price? Keep in mind everything here is 18 yrs old.

hi ... the boat isnt underpowered its right size for the boat. The problem is that it has a 1992 force motor. They are no longer made and parts are no longer made for the engine. Thats my concern. You will have to look at ebay for used parts. Or find the old Mercury parts equivalent and thats not easy.
If you look around you can get a good deal on a boat If you have $6000 or there abouts to offer.
It is 18 years old you could look on ebay and sneak a deal locally or within 1 hundred miles.
Look at the web pages for the local boat sellers in your area they always have used boats for sale. FOr example in Crysal river Fl I saw a pontoon boat ( if a deak kind of boat is what you want) with Mercury 90hp for $5000, there wa a 18ft bay boat with a Johnson for the same price.
My fear for you would be getting a boat with a motor that is difficult to maintian aand find parts for.
