what size bimini top do i buy for a 2006 bayliner 175?

width, height, length?

it looks like i have two metal things on the sides of the boat already for screwing the bimini into?

please help!

Took video of the motor running(9-13-10) to show what it needs. motor runs great, impeller is good all works well just needs timing or carb sync ...

Long story-Short; Bought a Brand new boat off the showroom floor at a boat show. Went to pick it up a few days later and the trailer looked like or old '79 trailer-rusted from the wrench to the tires. We told the dealership. We got not even a quarter mile down the road and the engine cover blew up, destroying the Bimini top and cracking the hull. the seats flew off and-lets just say we returned the boat. Dealership told us to take it home go out for the weekend and have fun. Problem after problem-returned more that 5 times! We only had it in the water a total of 6 times (3 weekends). The dealers excuse was they needed more time to fix all the problems. So, we handed the boat over to them in Aug...and the still have it-not finished- and will bayliner is refusing to help. Any suggestions or Advice-or encouragement-is welcomed!

Well, you bought a "BAYLINER" (the Ford pinto of the water) but thats not going to help you now, I would inform a laywer and have a letter or phone call made to the dealership, try and get your money back, or sell the boat "as is". I would suggest "BOSTON WHALER", expensive, yes but, a reliable boat, that won't sink, and you'll get all of your money back at re-sale, something that most boat makes don't do. If it makes you feel any better I had a Bayliner for a short time, problems, I dumped it and bought a Boston Whaler, it was like moving out of the Ghetto, and into "Beverly Hills", a much safer, secure feeling, with little or no worry's.

It's a 1986 bayliner. it has a cabin in the front. the motor is a volvo 2.1 (4cyl.) I really dont know much about it i just started restoring it. this guy owed me money and didnt want to pay so i took his boat and waverunner. which are both junk but the boat has potential. and also i cant find a cover for it either. ( hate to waste all the work i did for nothing)

Check-out West Marine they have all kinds and colours. I have a guy who woes me money too, but I think I'll just ram my fist down his throat and pull the cash outta his gullet.

I know I am asking for "what is the perfect all around boat?" But if you were buying a new boat today and lived on the gulf coast near rivers, shallow and deep lakes, bays, &the gulf of Mexico and wanted a boat that was 20' or underthat you could use in all of the above waters to run around, lounge, fish, and pull a tube/knee board/skier behind, which would you choose?

I currently have a 1994 Bayliner Capri 1750 but would like to get a new boat I could do all of the above in during ideal conditions. I like the new fish and ski Bayliner's but was looking at my options. I would like a boat that has or could get a Bimini top and have/add a trolling motor easily. Stern drive or outboard are both fine by me. Thank you for your help in advance!

try what your comfortable with ask about all the features and options and ask your dealer if that particular boat i capable of that hope that was helpful
