The guy I bought it from sprayed it and it looks awful.All white and hazy.It's a copper metal flake on top.What do I do after I get the clear coat off ?

before you strip it...try getting a rubbing compound and buffing a small spot on the boat...you say its a white film...that can be buffed out. try buffing first! if its weather checked with the clear coat pealing on the boat...then get a fibergalss stripper from any boat dealer, and strip the whole top part...the bottom half should be a gel-coat...gel-coat can be buffed out to look new again...and when i say buff, i dont mean by hand...get a power buffer. wally world has them for around $30 in the auto dept. once you get it stripped...call macco and ask them if they can hit it with 3 or 4 clear coats. or just call macco and ask the to give you a quote to get it done, cause if you know not what your doing...you will mess it up worse then the guy you bought it from. i say strip the whole top, cause thats where it is the worse. take it all the way down to the fiberglass, and have macco match it up for you.

I fish bass from a boat and from the shore. I am fishing for smallmouth and largemouth. And if any of them are good for crappies you could throw them in too. You can make one list with 5 lures or three lists for each species. Thanks.

Largemouth Bass

1.) 6" Plastic Worm, rigged texas style in grape color.
2.) White spinnerbait, preferably Booyah.
3.) Rapala Original Floating minnow in the black/gray or silver colors.
4.) Hula Popper in the frog color.
5.) Bomber Model A Crankbait.

Smallmouth Bass

1.) 3" or 4" curly tailed grub on a 1/4 oz. jig-head.
2.) White Worden's rooster tail.
3.) Smaller size Rapala Original Floating Minnow.
4.) 4 or 6" plastic worm rigged texas style, any dark color.

It's a 1970's-era bass boat, and we ripped the entire floor out of it and re-did it, set it all in with new fiberglass. Then we sanded it all down smooth, and used Bondo to fill all the damaged areas and old holes from all the old equipment we took off. Now we'd like to paint it, but are unsure what kind of paint would be easiest to use and yet durable enough... it has to be something we can apply with brushes and/or rollers. Right now we're only looking to paint the interior, the floor, and the top side of the boat.

as an alternative to gelcoat for the interior floor, you might want to look at something like Interlux Interdeck, which is a rubbery non-skid paint.

For the topsides, you could look at Brightside, which is a one-part polyurethane that comes in a lot of great colors and is much easier to apply and work with than gelcoat. if you want a harder, more durable finish you could try "Perfection" which is a two-part polyurethane that has a nice gloss when dry. Either one of these will provide a durable paint job without the hassle of gelcoat.

i have a 16 foot skeeter bass boat with a 90hp force engine. it runs a top speed of around 45 and i was wondering if it is possible to wakeboard behind it

Like everyone says, yes, you can do it. Obviously make sure the driver doesn't run over the rope. Overtons.com even makes a pole that you can mount to the boat so that you can get up a little easier...should give you more pop too.
