it has a inboard mercuiser motor in it, but i dont know the size motor. it has a "4" on the motor cover and the guy said it stands for 4 cyl. so what size would the motor be? maybe a 3.0 liter? idk. thanks

they mostly used an inline 4 cyl 120 hp 1bbl and 140 hp is a 2bbl

Sure hope you got one for each foot. Or did you mean 15 foot Sea Doo Jet boat. What year was it made? how many hours are on the motor? $19,000 sounds like brand new pricing? Remember this when it has a few years on it storage bill coming due and when the engine gets gummed up because the fuel went bad... The two happiest days in a boat owners life the day he or she takes it out on the lake the first time and the day you hand the title to some one else and cash the're check.

I live in georgia and have a trailer a little under 80" and less than 19' in length. I'm getting a new lighting kit and wanted to know what all lights I needed. I know that I need the rear lights with turn signals and license plate light. I don't know if I need two on the front of the trailer near the tongue or if I need two on the front and back of the wheel cover facing forwards and backwards. Any help out there?

Seattle's answer is good. The reason is, to keep someone from attempting to turn or drive between you and your boat. In my case I was in Pueblo CO when a truck turned in front of me, he was pulling about a 40' trailer that was actually a gravel conveyor, it only had tail lights. I did not see the machine until I was nearly on it. I had seen the pickup pull in, and thought it odd he stopped right after entering the driveway, but saw nothing until I was within about 40 to 50 feet, at 50 mph, thats not enough room to get stopped in. I ducked, it took the upper part off my pickup cab. He got ticket for improper lighting, I got 9000 toward a new pickup. I don't know how much it cost him to fix his machine. His comment was, "couldn't you see that?". At night, I could not. Might have helped had it not been painted black.
